Agiza Chakula values your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the information you give us on the website and in the phone app: your name, phone number, email (optional), delivery address, your orders and the ratings or comments you leave. If you allow it, we use your location to show nearby sellers and fill in the delivery place. For sellers also: food photos, business details, and their position while online (so the customer can follow the order). The paying number is used for mobile money payments.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to connect you with nearby deliverers, complete and track orders, take payments and pay sellers, send SMS verification codes and important updates, improve our services, and protect you from abuse. We do not use your information to advertise for other companies.

3. Sharing Information

We do not sell your information. We only share what is needed: with the deliverer or cafeteria of your order (name, phone number, delivery place); with PigaPay (PigaTech) for mobile money payments and payouts to sellers; and with our SMS provider for verification codes. In the app, the QR code scanner uses Google's ML Kit, which sends Google device and performance information (such as the phone model) to improve the service; the camera picture is not sent anywhere. Phone notifications (new orders, payments) are delivered through Google's Firebase, which uses an identifier of your phone for that only; you can switch them off in Account.

4. Data Security

We use modern technology to protect your information: all traffic goes over HTTPS and passwords are stored only as hashes. However, no system is 100% secure online.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to view, correct or delete your information. You can delete your account yourself in the app (Account > Delete account) or on the website (Settings > Security > Delete account); everything is explained on the Delete Account page (/delete-account). Order records are kept without your name for accounting and the law.
